Amy Cieslik Mena

B.S. exercise science, Boston University

fully certified on all apparatus

Founder & Studio Manager

I have a passion for movement. A competitive gymnast in my youth, I have transitioned though several sports and activities throughout the years including track and field, distance running, cheering and tumbling, swimming, collegiate sailing, and triathlons. I deeply enjoy a challenge. I’ve always tried to stay as well rounded as possible: one day I am on the reformer, maybe the next day I'm on the Peloton or lifting… or getting my workout in lifting toddlers. As a mom of two, I’ve found it deeply important to treat my body as well as I can so that I can (sometimes!) feel like the best, strong and capable parent I can be.

In my personal practice, Pilates is a not an option but a necessity. I believe unequivocally that Pilates keeps my muscles strong, my strength balanced and my body injury free through all of my varied training, sports and interests.

Alyssa Dedrick

fully certified on all apparatus

Alyssa started her journey with Pilates as a teen when she was a competitive figure skater. Pilates gave her the core strength to center her spins, the endurance to skate faster and longer, and the strength to jump higher than before. Alyssa began to study Pilates instruction in 2006 and continues to do so.

Alyssa is BodyAccess Certified in both Pilates Mat and Reformer in addition to more recent classical training across all apparatus in 2016. Alyssa has a BA in Psychology, and she hopes to assist any individual that is looking to better themselves by way of mind and body.

  • I have been taking Pilates reformer classes with Alyssa since 2021.  Alyssa is a great instructor. Her classes are challenging, but at the same time she makes them accessible and comfortable for all levels of students by offering modifications and support.

Alyssa is knowledgeable and always maintains a positive attitude, which makes classes enjoyable even though you are working hard.

I always look forward to participating in Alyssa’s classes and always leave feeling better and energized.

  • Alyssa is my first Pilates instructor and I hope she’s my last! She’s a great teacher who truly cares about the individual instruction of each client and curates to our needs. Not only is she a wonderful instructor, she’s a joy to work with.

Rosemary Carroll

fully certified on all apparatus

I teacher trained with the Lab Method with Josie Bray on mat and equipment 2019-2020. I personally love that the “lineage” is Carola Trier - because she did roller skate dancing and contortion well into her elder years and that inspires me to continue to perform and dance. While I was out West and teaching out of the Movement Collective of Santa Fe, I did continuing education in Ron Fletcher’s standing work and also Eve Gentry’s approach.

I have experience working with older clients, focusing on balance, vertigo, Parkinson's, pelvic floor issues from surgery (and childbirth), clients with spinal stenosis, and specialized populations including equestrians, aerialists, neurodivergent adolescents, and LGBTQ people who may have sensitivity on how anatomy is presented.  I occasionally incorporate some of the images from Franklin Method into my approach when it helps certain people.

In addition I teach Laban-Bartinieff's exercises which are foundational to both physical therapy and modern dance. I have additional certifications in release technique and embodied anatomy and continue to teach dance. Before I teacher trained on the equipment I taught mat classes and dance in NYC public schools 2017-2020

Noah Herron

fully certified on all apparatus

Noah started his journey with Pilates as a teenager when he was in training to become a professional ballet dancer. After graduating from the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts he moved to NYC and danced for various ballet companies and even toured around the world for 3 years. In 2018 he became certified in the classical Pilates method through Balanced Pilates in NYC and continued to teach there for the next 2 years.

Now he lives in Haverhill with his husband and 4 year old twins. They certainly keep him busy, but he still makes time to share the power of Pilates with his community. He believes strongly in what Pilates can do for the health of one’s body and mind.

He has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds and firmly believes Pilates is for everyone. Whether a fitness enthusiast or newcomer, someone rehabilitating from an injury or surgery, a pregnant or postpartum person, or a Pilates veteran, there is something life changing to glean from a session with Noah.

  • "Noah is the best pilates teacher I've ever had the great good fortune to work with. He is brilliant, demanding, hilarious, kind, and super fun.

Now that I'm older, it is especially gratifying to progress in my practice and grow stronger under his exceptional, classical tutelage."

Madeleine Doody

Teacher in Training - currently working toward full certification

Two years ago, my life changed when I broke my hip from running and not taking care of my body, but that moment led me to discover Pilates as a powerful outlet for healing and growth.

Through this journey, I’ve learned so much about strength, resilience, and self-love, and my dedication to Pilates continues to grow every day. I’m committed to deepening my practice and sharing the transformative power of Pilates with anyone who finds that they need it.
